There are moments when you look back and realize that all the effort, perseverance, and well-judged decisions pay off. Not always immediately, not always visibly, but truly. The awards we received at Mas Fuertes in 2025 and 2026 are exactly that: a confirmation that the path we have chosen makes sense. But this blog is not just about awards. It's about what they represent. Because every recognition that appears in this image – from Amsterdam to Catalonia and at a national level – is not just a final result. It is the sum of many small decisions made over time.
Deciding to go organic when it's not the easiest path. Deciding to prioritize quality over quantity.
Deciding to respect nature's timing. Deciding not to adapt the product to please everyone. And in the end, it shows.
International awards, such as the gold medal in Amsterdam for the Arbequina and Argudell varieties, place us outside our usual context. They allow us to see that what we do here, with a very local and territorially rooted perspective, also has value abroad. That quality knows no borders. The recognitions in Catalonia, such as those from the Fira de l'Oli de les Borges Blanques, have a different meaning. These are awards that come from the same sector, from people who perfectly understand the level of demand involved in producing organic extra virgin olive oil. Here the value is not just winning, but being recognized by those who know exactly what lies behind it. And then there are the scores and distinctions at the national level, such as IberOleum or the recognition as the best Argudell in the world. These awards name and value a variety that is part of our identity. Argudell is not an easy oil, but it is an oil with character. And its recognition further strengthens our commitment. But it's not all about oils.
The recognition for our multifloral honey with the Girona Excel·lent seal is also very special. Because it demonstrates that the project's philosophy is not limited to a single product. It is a cross-cutting approach that is reflected in everything we produce. And that, perhaps, is the most important thing. Awards do not change the way we work. They do not make us go faster, nor do they make us produce more. But they do give us something very valuable: perspective. They remind us that the long road is worth it. That consistency pays off. That doing things well, even if it's harder, ultimately makes sense.
Because in the end, the value is not in the award. It's in everything it took to get there. And if there's one thing we're clear about at Mas Fuertes, it's that these awards are not a finishing line. They are a way of telling us to keep going. That we are doing well. And that the most important thing… is still being built.
