Discover the Authentic Wines of Mas Fuertes
At Mas Fuertes we love the unique. Our approach to winemaking is no exception. Unlike many other wine farms in Spain, we do not focus exclusively on the traditional varieties such as Rioja, Tempranillo and Verdejo. Instead, we have deliberately chosen a selection of international grape varieties, including Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and even Petit Verdot.
Why did we make this bold choice? It's our passion for making wines that stimulate the senses and tell stories.
Diversity in flavor profiles is one of our driving forces. By using a wider range of grape varieties, we can produce wines with a varied flavor profile. For example, Syrah often brings out a spicy and fruity flavor, while Cabernet Sauvignon can add a more robust structure and dark fruit character. This allows us to produce wines that appeal to different taste preferences.
But it goes further than just the taste. Our choice of grape varieties is also based on climatic adaptation. Spain may be known for its Mediterranean climate, but within the country there are wide variations in microclimates. By choosing international grape varieties that thrive in different climatic conditions, we can take advantage of the unique soil of our vineyards and produce high-quality wines regardless of the specific location.
At Mas Fuertes we embrace innovation and creativity in our winemaking process. By experimenting with less traditional grape varieties, we can create unique and exciting wines that reflect our passion for winemaking.
Our commitment to authenticity is also reflected in the names of our wines, each of which tells its own story about our beautiful estate.
The older vines at the entrance to the estate include the powerful and full-bodied Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, lovingly cherished under the name "La Entrada". These wines belong to the higher segment because of their low yield and exclusivity.
The Petit Verdot takes its name from the enchanting setting of the golf course, Campo de Golf. A true hero among our wines, the Campo de Golf Petit Verdot is not only used in blends, but is also offered as a Monocépage, where Mas Fuertes stands out from others.
For those who desire liveliness and youthfulness in their wine, we offer the Syrah Joven, also known as Campo de Futboll. This young Syrah, available in both 100% and blends, bursts with energy and embodies the playful spirit of the estate.
Our white grape vines, nestled near the tennis court, give life to the refined white wines we offer under the name Pista de Tenis. These wines are presented in blends of 2 or 3 grapes, with each sip offering a refreshing and vibrant experience.
At Mas Fuertes we invite you to discover our authentic wines and enjoy the unique flavors that our estate has to offer. Be enchanted by the stories of our country and taste the passion and dedication that each glass embodies. Welcome to Mas Fuertes, where wine making is an adventure that we are happy to share with you.

"Dense, ripe black fruit, together with notes of charred meat and black licorice follow through to a full-to medium-bodied palate with lots of licoricy oak, velvety tannins and a flavorful finish."

"Dark crimson with a pale rim. Attractive maturity on the nose. Very soft on the palate; tannins have entirely retreated to leave an appetizing, juicy wine with some savory, balsam notes."
