Mas Fuertes
A family hobby that grew into an excellent estate for premium organic products.
In 2005, a family discovered the beautiful Empordà region and started their dream vineyard with stunning sea views. What began as a small wine project grew into a flourishing business. Mas Fuertes now offers an extensive range of organic red and white wines, 100% cold-pressed organic Argudell olive oil, and organic honey from 3 million bees.
Mas Fuertes retains its charm with a lot of manual work, from picking grapes and olives to honey production. While organic methods are applied in the vineyards without synthetic chemicals, the bees migrate to the Pyrenees in the summer. The harvest is meticulous, and wines are naturally fermented.
At Mas Fuertes, tradition goes hand in hand with innovation, such as experiments with concrete and sand barrels for white wines. Every aspect of the estate reflects the family's values, including the labels designed by the youngest daughter. Discover the wines of Mas Fuertes and taste the dedication, craftsmanship, and love for nature. Cheers to beautiful moments and unforgettable flavors.
Awards
Mas Fuertes has been awarded a series of distinctions that confirm our position among Spain's most expressive extra virgin olive oils.
Our oils, made from the Argudell and Arbequina varieties, received gold medals at the Amsterdam IOOC. The recognition highlights their purity, balance, and the distinct sensory character derived from the Empordà terroir. At the Fira de Les Borges Blanques, Mas Fuertes was awarded for two consecutive years, with our Argudell being named Best Green Bitter Argudell – Small Producer. This acknowledges our early harvest and traditional cultivation methods. Nationally, Mas Fuertes is among the Top 10 olive oils in Spain according to IberOleum, with a score of 9.55 points.
Our raw multifloral honey was also awarded the Girona Agro-Food Excellence Seal, recognizing its purity and artisanal production.
Together, these distinctions confirm our philosophy: precision, restraint, and respect for our origins.

James Suckling (93 points) JONATHAN COOKE
"Dense, ripe black fruit, together with notes of charred meat and black licorice follow through to a full-to medium-bodied palate with lots of licoricy oak, velvety tannins and a flavorful finish."

Jancis Robinson (16.5 points) WINE EXPERT
"Dark crimson with a pale rim. Attractive maturity on the nose. Very soft on the palate; tannins have entirely retreated to leave an appetizing, juicy wine with some savory, balsam notes."
