Once used as a lookout to spot enemies from the Mediterranean, the enchanting Mas Fuertes estate sits high on the Gavarres hills and offers breathtaking 360-degree views of land and sea. What was once a 200-year-old ruin, with just one wall and trees growing in the old courtyard, has been transformed into an extraordinary vineyard that reflects the splendor of the Empordà region.
In 2005 the estate underwent a remarkable transformation into a place of beauty and character. The estate is divided into two vineyards. The older vines, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah (the family favorites) were planted from 2008, and in 2015 the collection was expanded to include Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc and Petit Verdot, also known as the younger vines.
In addition to our vineyards, we also nurture a lush olive grove that adorns the estate. Our centuries-old olive trees bear fruit of the highest quality, which are harvested with care and pressed into our delicious extra virgin olive oil. With its characteristic taste and aroma, our olive oil adds an authentic touch of Mediterranean flavor to all your culinary creations.
Furthermore, our estate extends to lush grounds where our bees have made their home. Here they collect nectar from the wildflowers that adorn the grounds, producing a delicious honey that is infused with the flavors of our natural environment. Our artisanal honey is a true delicacy, perfect to enjoy on freshly baked bread or as a sweet addition to your favorite dishes.
