From product to experience: the magic of relationships

When I started working at Mas Fuertes, I thought my job would just be selling: explaining prices, conditions, and closing orders. I soon discovered that my real task isn't selling, but building relationships. It's these relationships that make customers return, trust, and recommend our project.

The first thing I've learned is that not all customers are looking for the same thing. Some want exclusivity, others prioritize quality without complications, and many just want to feel heard and have things explained clearly. When I sit down with a client, the first rule is to listen: what do they need, what challenges do they face, what concerns them. Only then do I talk about our products and how they can fit what they're looking for. This personal approach makes every conversation different and every relationship unique.

At Mas Fuertes, we offer wines, extra virgin olive oil, and multifloral honey, all 100% organic. I could simply explain what they are and their prices, but that doesn't convey their true value. With each client, I try to show all the work that goes into every bottle or jar: the carefully cultivated vineyards, the respect for natural cycles, and the artisanal process that makes each product unique. When the client understands this, they stop seeing just a product and start perceiving an experience, a project, and the people behind it. This is what truly sells: trust and human connection.

Not all relationships are easy. Some collaborations don't turn out as expected, and I've had to say no to clients who didn't fit with our way of working. But even these moments are learning experiences: they teach us who we are, what we can offer, and how to do it better. Successes, on the other hand, are incredible: when a client returns, recommends our products, or simply says "thank you, this wine is extraordinary," I know we've built a solid and valuable relationship.

For me, marketing and sales isn't just a sales strategy. It's about creating bonds, telling stories, and making people feel part of our project. I truly enjoy talking with clients, understanding their needs, and adapting our offer to each situation. This is what makes each relationship unique, close, and lasting.
