Winemaking process

A careful process from start to finish.

At Mas Fuertes, winemaking is seen as an art, a process carried out with special attention and care to create a unique and eco-friendly final product. Our vineyards are planted and treated with great dedication, with the aim of providing the best possible wine experience. Over the years we have perfected our winemaking process, striving for innovation and superiority at every step.

An Exceptional Process

At Mas Fuertes we believe that the winemaking process is as important as the quality of the grapes themselves. Every step is carried out with precision and passion to produce a wine of exceptional quality.

The process

The process starts on our vineyards, where the unique Mediterranean climate and carefully selected grapes come together. After the manual harvest, the grapes are carefully selected at the sorting table before they are destemmed and crushed. The combination of peel, fungi and seeds is transferred to stainless steel tanks, where alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 22 degrees Celsius.

During the fermentation process, the mix is stirred regularly to fully extract the aromas, color and flavors of the grape skins. After fermentation, the wine is separated from the skins and transferred to stainless steel tanks for natural fining.

The wine then undergoes an aging process in French oak barrels, ranging from 0 to 15 months, depending on the desired result. After maturing, the wine is bottled in thick glass bottles, ready to be enjoyed.
